You rise to the level of your systems.” And it was this easy but impactful concept that changed the game for me as a digital entrepreneur.

In this blog post, I’d like to share my story — the highs, the lows, and the lessons learned — in hopes of inspiring you to take the first step towards creating your own profitable digital product business.

After I graduated from college, I realized I wanted something more than the 9-to-5 lifestyle. Like many of you, I wanted freedom — freedom to work when I wanted, to earn more, to spend time on what I cared about most.

I was still working full-time as an IT technical support at one of the telecommunications companies in the Philippines back then. And yet, content with a steady job, I longed for something to unleash my creativity and build an empire of my own. It started with me doing little videos, blogging, and YouTube stuff.

I soon realized, however, that passion wasn’t enough. It made me realize how hard it was for me to define my niche, gauge my strengths and to comprehend the value I can add. With no business or marketing background — and no family experience with entrepreneurship — the learning curve was steep. However, behind all that and my new job, I was still struggling, so I decided to invest even more time into learning about digital business models.

I’ve experimented, pushed most online business models to the limits — everything from affiliate marketing to multi-level marketing to e-commerce to cryptocurrency experimentation. Yet, nothing seemed to stick. Every effort felt like a cul-de-sac, and it was frustrating.

But as James Clear writes, “Success is the product of daily habits—not once-in-a-lifetime transformations.” So I worked on building small, consistent habits. In the year 2019, I started my first coaching business teaching YouTube marketing. I made a single sale, yet it was a ray of hope. That single win validated that I could convert my knowledge to dollars.

And then the pandemic came in 2020. Like most of us, my finances didn't went well. July 2020, when I discovered about my pregnancy. With the high risk of pregnancy to be caught of covid-19, I decided to quit my job. It was the hardest thing to do. Without any active income and with increasing expenses, I had to pause my digital business. It was rough, but I never lost faith in the dream.

While staying at home, I decided to venture into Freelancing. I wasn't sure about it, but with the urge to make an extra income while at home made me become a freelance video editor. After taking time to nurse my newborn, and recover from a difficult pregnancy, I knew I was ready to rebuild in 2022. I went back to freelancing, doing video editing and YouTube management. It helped to set some cash aside and get my confidence back.

By the middle of 2022, I was prepared to jump back into the digital products world. That’s when I came across Systeme. io— a free platform with no problem for funnels, landing pages, and automations, great for beginners.

At first, I was skeptical. Would a free tool actually help me relaunch my business? But I tried and slowly rebuilt my business from the ground-up.

Through trial and error, a simple formula emerged that became the backbone of my income: Offer, System, Traffic.

I rolled out a few digital products in early 2024, including Master Resell Rights eBooks and Done-for-You Funnels. My initial target was pretty straight-ship—make PHP 500 worth of sales. That small, achievable goal was enough to propel me forward. Much to my surprise, my strategy worked. I crushed my target and went beyond that with PHP 750 revenue on my first launch. Those little wins added up over the months and resulted in consistent income.

This November 2024, I initiated the Freedompreneur Challenge, a guided program to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to create their own digital product businesses without the tech overwhelm. I’ve used the same offer-system-traffic formula to help others replicate my success.
