6 Proven Ways Stay-At-Home Moms Can Make Money Online While Taking Care Their Kids

Online selling is one of the easiest ways to make money these days. Thousands of people work as online sellers and earn huge amounts of money. Through platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and Facebook Marketplace, we can afford to sell products from our homes.

Hey, just so you know, I also sell on Shopee! Yes, ladies, I have an online shop where I sell health and beauty products. It's been a great way for me to make some extra money.
I also use Facebook Marketplace to sell things I no longer need at home. However, I've had some rough experiences there with scammers. While there are legit buyers, I've encountered quite a few scammers as well.
But with some creativity, perseverance, and the right marketing strategy, you can definitely make more than Php 20,000 a month!
2) FREELANCING
If you have skills in writing, video editing, graphic design, social media management, or any other field, you can become a freelancer.
Through freelancing platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, and Fiverr, you can earn money through remote work. Many employers and companies are looking for freelancers who can do the work at home. You don't have to worry if you don't have a regular job because you can have multiple clients by being a freelancer.
Personally, I used Upwork to get clients for my freelancing business. As of now, I have 1 retainer client locally which is I'm so thankful because of this I was able to pay my internet bill and I also help with household expenses.
I started my freelancing journey year 2020 when I quit my full - time job and quit my digital business due to financial constraints that I experienced during the covid 19 pandemic.
I'm glad that I was able to land generous clients and up to date freelancing is the bread and butter of business and my main source of income.
3) ONLINE TUTORIALS & COURSES
Did you know you can monetize your knowledge and expertise?
Yes, it’s totally possible! If you're good at something like cooking, drawing, music, or any other skill, you can teach online. Platforms like Udemy and Skillshare let you become an online instructor, and there are people out there willing to pay to learn from you.
So, why not take advantage of that?
Before I started freelancing two years ago, I resigned from my full-time job as a customer service agent. I was starting my digital business and online course, but I couldn’t sustain it because I got busy with my freelance work and taking care of my newborn baby.
But let me tell you, it's a great way to make income online if you really put in the effort.

4) YOUTUBE MONETIZATION
At least, now, I haven't experienced making money in the YouTube Partner Program because I haven't reached one of the requirements (the 4K watch hours) as of this recording.
But I have seen many YouTubers who are already making money on YouTube or maybe you're already one of those YouTube earners.
If you have a passion for content creation and you have a gift for speaking to engage people, you can make a lot of money as a YouTuber. On YouTube, once you have a large subscriber base, you can earn through ads, sponsored content, and even merchandise.
Not only on YouTube, you can also earn from your content on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
Oh isn't it, it's great.
5) VIRTUAL ASSISTANCE
And for stay-at-home moms who want part-time online work, virtual assistance is one of the best opportunities for you. By being a virtual assistant, you will help entrepreneurs and business owners with their administrative tasks even if you are at home. It could be data entry, email management, appointment setting, or whatever they need. Being a virtual assistant is very flexible, and you can do it while doing household chores as well.
I haven't tried it yet, but I have online friends who are VA's and they also earn a lot here.
Sometimes it gets confusing between being a FREELANCER and a VA.
6) AFFILIATE MARKETING
Affiliate marketing is one of the most passive incomes that I've tried and experienced.
What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based online marketing strategy where individuals or businesses promote products or services on behalf of a company. You'll earn commissions for each sale, click, or action generated through your marketing efforts.
Essentially, it's a win-win arrangement: companies benefit from increased exposure and sales, while affiliates earn money for driving valuable traffic or conversions. This collaborative approach has become a popular and lucrative way for content creator to monetize their online presence and marketing skills.
Many companies are looking for affiliate marketing partners. Just be careful in choosing the company and product to promote in your video, blog post, or social media posts.
It should be a product that you have tested and tried because the trust of your audience depends on it.
Those are my tips for you on how to earn Php20k or more even at home. Remember, it's not easy to do – you need hard work, perseverance, and determination.
But if you always have a positive mindset and willingness to learn, you will go far!
